World Parkinson's Day

April 11 is World Parkinson's Day!

This neurodegenerative disease was described in 1817 by Dr. James Parkinson in his work "Shaking Pulsy".
The researcher did not give his own name to the disease.
It was only in 1872, almost half a century after his death, that the neurologist Jean-Martin Charcot discovered Parkinson's work and called the pathology, which was manifested in many patients with similar symptoms, Parkinson's disease.
