March 21 - World Down Syndrome Day!

21/03 is the international day of Down syndrome, or trisomy of the 21st chromosome. All activities on this day serve to raise awareness about Trisomy 21 and protect the rights of people with this syndrome.

The human chromosomal set consists of 46 chromosomes. In the case of trisomy of the 21st chromosome, there are 47 chromosomes, which causes delays in the physical and mental development of the child.
