General Information

VivaDiagTM SARS-CoV-2 Ag Rapid Saliva Test Is a chromatographic immunoassay, which is used for the rapid, qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein antigen in human saliva.

VivaDiagTM SARS-CoV-2 Ag Saliva Rapid Test  Sensitivity - 98,26%, Specificity > 99,99%,  Clinical accuracy - 99,50%.

Time required for analysis - 15 minutes.

 The test is designed for:

• For on-site testing for clinical laboratories.
• The test is not intended for home testing.

This price is valid only in Batumi and Tbilisi.

When should we take the test?

• To detect the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus in the body.
• From the first day of symptoms of acute respiratory infection / pneumonia.
• In case of suspected asymptomatic course of COVID-19 after contact with a patient with COVID-19 (from the first to the 14th day of contact).
• Mass testing for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

How to prepare for the test?

Do not eat or drink, do not chew gum, and do not smoke before testing. For at least 10 minutes.

The patient is required for testing Saliva.

Possible interpretation of the results

Positive Result: A control line appears C And test line T.

Negative Result: Only the control line appears C, Without test line (T).

Uncertain (unreliable) result: Control line C It does not appear, indicating that the test is incorrect, no matter if the test line T appears or not.

Diagnostic limitations:

• SARS-CoV-2 antigen test results should not be used as the sole basis for diagnosing, excluding, or assessing SARS-CoV-2 infection status.
• A negative result does not rule out SARS-CoV-2 infection, especially in patients who have had contact with a person infected with the virus. In such patients, additional molecular diagnostics and / or CT scans are recommended to rule out infection.
• Positive results can be caused by an existing infection. In this case, additional molecular diagnostics and / or CT scans are preferred to confirm the test result.
