A drug test is used to detect one or more narcotic substances in the body.

The composition of the panel includes the following tests:

1. MOP-morphine
2. MDMA-Ecstasy
3. COC-cocaine
4. MTD-methadone
5. BAR-barbiturates
6. BZO-benzodiazepine
7. AMP-Amphetamine
8. MET-Methamphetamine
9. K2-Synthesized Marijuana
10. TCA-antidepressants

Various materials are used as a research sample (blood, hair, sweat, saliva, urine), but urine testing is practical, simple and the most common method. Traces of narcotic substances can be detected in urine several hours or even days after the last intake of substances.

The duration of drug retention in the body depends on:

• on the type of drug
• on the received dose
• on the duration of drug use
• on the body's reaction

What is a drug test used for?

Drug testing determines the concentration of this or that substance in the organism, however, it cannot determine drug addiction.

Material for examination: urine

Preparation for research: It is important to inform the doctor about all prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, and nutritional supplements that the patient may be taking, as these substances can sometimes affect the test results. It is recommended that you avoid consuming products containing poppy seeds for at least 12 hours before the test, as the opiates contained in them will affect the test results.

Interpretation of results

If the test results are negative, it means that narcotic substances were not found in the urine sample, or an insignificant amount was found, which is insufficient to give a positive value.

If the drug test is positive for one or more substances, it indicates the use of said drug or the abuse of medication.
