Home call service: YesFadiatop is an allergy screening test with high sensitivity and specificity for inhaled allergens. It is an enzyme immunoassay and examines the presence of IgE antibodies to a mixture of allergens such as: grass, tree, weed dust, cat and dog fur, dust mites and mold. A positive response means that the person is allergic to at least one of these allergens. It should be noted that the test does not assess sensitivity to food, drugs and various chemical agents.
In the presence of at least one symptom characteristic of an allergic process (rhinitis, runny nose, itching of the skin and mucous membranes, sneezing), the duration of which is 4 weeks or more, a test is recommended (allergy panels and individual tests for allergens are used as needed). It makes sense to carry out research in the presence of symptoms and for differential diagnostics.
Laboratory tests allow us to differentiate atopic (allergic) dermatitis from diseases such as seborrhea, eczema, toxiderma and others.
