Instructions for taking an animal sample (blood):

Necessary requirement: Sampling should be done 30 days after animal vaccination!

• You can use the veterinarian's on-site service for analysis.

            The cost of a call to the apartment (to take the analysis) is 15 GEL.

            On-call service is available throughout Tbilisi on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 08:30 to 17:00.

• The pet owner can also bring a blood sample that has already been taken to the laboratory center. To do this, the owner must contact the laboratory in advance and ask the nurse to take the sample. Rabies virus antibody testing application form, test tube - 5ml Serum Clot activator Yellow top, (A box and gel pack for transporting the material (blood) in which it will be collected

The test tube is provided with coagulation accelerator additives (gel) and is intended for serum to separate. The test tube comes with a yellow cap (see attached photo).

• The owner of the animal must take the application form and the test tube to the appropriate veterinary institution, where the veterinarian will directly take blood from the animal and centrifuge it. (If the centrifugation did not take place in the veterinary clinic, then the sample must be delivered to the Synevo branch on the same day, during working hours, so that the sample can be centrifuged by us on time)
• The veterinarian must also complete the rabies virus antibody test application form.
• The animal owner must bring the sample in the gelpack box and the filled application form back to the same branch of "Synevo" from where it was issued. Preferably on the same day.

At least 1 ml of serum must be collected!
