Blood biochemistry

Blood biochemical tests are used in a blood sample to determine the amount of certain substances in the body. These substances include electrolytes, fats, proteins, glucose, and enzymes. Blood biochemical tests provide important information about how well the human kidneys, liver, and other organs are working. An abnormal amount of the substance in the blood can be a sign of a side effect of a disease or treatment. Tests are used to diagnose and monitor multiple conditions before, during, and after treatment.
