The liquid-based Pap test is a modern method of cervical cancer screening, which provides examination of the cervical epithelium with higher accuracy than the standard Pap test, without loss of material.
The liquid substrate allows for simultaneous Pap testing and papillomavirus genotyping, further increasing the efficiency of the study.
