Cytokeratin fragment-19 antigen (CYFRA 21-1) belongs to the cytokeratin protein family.

 

CYFRA 21-1 determination is used as a tumor marker, especially in lung cancer. #non-small cell lung cancer In cancer, along with carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCCa) antigens.

 

When is the survey conducted?
– Suspected non-small cell lung cancer
– In the differentiation of volumetric lung formations of unknown genesis
