When should we take the test?

The test should be performed on any patient with diarrhea who has undergone antibiotic therapy in the last 2 months and / or diarrhea started 72 hours (or more) after hospitalization. Before making an accurate diagnostics, it is necessary to suspect colitis caused by C. difficile.
In severe diarrhea syndrome - defecation at least 3 times in 24 hours with watery stools;
During diarrhea caused after long-term treatment with antibiotics.
In immunocompromised patients with diarrhea and in patients undergoing chemotherapy.
